Slideshow AI (the "App") helps you generate, edit, and export AI-powered slide decks. This Privacy Policy explains what data the App handles, how it's used, and the choices you have. We aim to collect as little as possible and to be transparent about what we do.
Your slideshows, chat history, and hero images generated for your slides are stored locally on your device. We do not back up your deck content to our own servers. Deleting a deck in the App removes it from local storage; uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data.
When you generate or edit a slideshow, the App sends the information needed to produce the result to a third-party AI service provider. This may include:
These requests are sent to regulated AI providers acting as our data processors. They are used solely to produce the response returned to you, and are subject to the providers' own privacy and data-handling terms. Generated images are returned to the App and stored locally on your device.
To operate the App we process limited technical information, which may include an anonymous user identifier, device type, operating system version, subscription status, and diagnostic data. This information does not identify you personally and is used to keep the service working, verify subscriptions, and improve reliability.
Premium subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles your payment and provides us with a purchase receipt so we can verify your subscription and unlock premium features. We never see or store your payment card details. Apple's privacy practices also apply to your purchase.
If you have Share Analytics enabled on your device, Apple may share anonymised
crash logs and diagnostics with us. These help us fix bugs and improve
stability. You can disable this at any time in
Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.
Deck content stays on your device until you delete it in the App or uninstall the App. Operational data such as anonymous user IDs and subscription status may be retained for as long as needed to operate the service and comply with law. Data handled by AI service providers is subject to their own retention policies.
Slideshow AI is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.
You can delete any saved deck or chat directly inside the App. Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored content. If you wish to exercise rights under applicable privacy law (including GDPR or CCPA), please contact us using the details below.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the App after the revised policy becomes effective means you accept the changes.
